Event coordinators and panelists smile for a photo at the 'No More Silence in the Dark' event.

On March 19, 2014, the Justice Center at the University of Alaska Anchorage and the Omega Xi chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma, the national criminal justice honor society, hosted “No More Silence in the Dark.” The event was part of National Criminal Justice Month 2014 and “UAA Says No More” week, and drew a crowd of 150 students, faculty, staff and members of the community to the UAA/APU Consortium Library.
